by: Linn B. HaltonReview by: Stacy L. Palm I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It's short, sweet, and has a plot that holds your attention. I don't like to give away the plot of any new story, I've always believed it is better to be surprised by what the book has to offer. However, this book is obviously from the title about angels being among us. At first I expected another young adult novel about even more fallen angels, but what I discovered was a completely new twist on what reader's have come to expect from forbidden romances of angels. The parapsychology for this book was well researched. You can tell that the author has a true appreciation and in depth knowledge of supernatural occurrences dealing with, well I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise. I am grateful to the writer that does pour some background expertise into their fiction. It's nice to think, debate, and question while enjoying a good read. I can tell that the writer is still growing, and I truly look forward to what she will bring us in the future. This book is the first in what appears to be a trilogy. The second book should be released in November 2013. I encourage you to give this book a try, as I think you will enjoy |
